Personal data

AFCEA only collects the data you choose to send it: mailing list sign-up, membership application, event registration or email message. This data is used solely to inform you about our activities and to run the association. Mailing list subscriptions are managed by our email service provider Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France). Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties, and is kept for no more than three years after our last contact (or until you unsubscribe).

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), you have the right to access, rectify, erase and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@afcea.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

Cookies and audience measurement

The website uses an audience measurement tool (Jetpack Stats) to produce anonymous traffic statistics. Content embedded from other platforms (YouTube videos in particular) may set their own cookies, governed by those platforms’ policies. You can set your browser to refuse cookies at any time; you will still be able to browse the website.
